This notice describes the processing of personal data through the AnimAyurvedica® website under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Last updated: 15 October 2026.

The activities presented on this website are carried out by Arcangelo Di Salvatore, VAT no. 01255350256, and Katia Sardena, VAT no. 05560330267, each acting as an independent controller for processing connected with their own services. Data processed and source
We may process identifying and contact data, information submitted in enquiries, data required for bookings and Gift Cards, billing data where required, email address and evidence of newsletter consent, and technical browsing data necessary for website security and operation. Data comes directly from you or is generated technically while using the website.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to answer enquiries and manage bookings and Gift Cards (performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures); meet legal, administrative and accounting obligations; protect the website and services from misuse (legitimate interest); send newsletters and measure visits with Google Analytics 4 only where you have given consent. We do not use data for behavioural advertising or disclose it for third-party marketing.
Health and wellbeing-related data
The website does not ask for health data in its forms. Please do not send unnecessary health information through email or WhatsApp. If special-category data voluntarily provided is genuinely necessary to manage a specific wellbeing service, you will first receive a specific notice and explicit consent will be collected where required. Wellbeing content and treatments do not replace medical diagnosis or care.
Recipients and external services
Data is processed by authorised people and, where necessary, by providers used for website hosting and technical functions, email, Reservio bookings, Nexi XPay payments and Google Analytics 4. Bookings, WhatsApp, maps, social platforms and payments open external services: their own policies also apply when you use them. Payment-card data is entered into Nexi’s system and is not collected or retained by the AnimAyurvedica® website.
International transfers
Some external providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices describe the safeguards that apply, including standard contractual clauses or other GDPR transfer mechanisms where relevant.
Retention periods
Contact requests are kept for the time needed to handle them and normally no longer than 12 months. Gift Card and transaction data subject to accounting obligations is retained for the legally required period, normally 10 years. Newsletter data is retained until consent is withdrawn. Cookie choices stay on the device for 6 months. Analytics data is retained in the Google Analytics property for the period configured by the controller: the intended period is 14 months and must be checked in the property before publication.
Your rights
Where provided by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing; you may also withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise your rights, write to animayurvedica@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
